Truck drivers sidelined over fraudulent logs and parking violations in Arizona

Arizona officers patrolling the Phoenix area took enforcement action against three truck drivers who had parked illegally due to violations related to their trip logs.

On July 31, 2026, officers from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) detected “three professional drivers who ignored more than six ‘No Parking’ signs and nevertheless parked on AZ 202 and Elliot Road.”

Officers from the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit approached the three truck drivers and discovered that “all three had falsified logbooks.”

The officers issued citations and took the three truck drivers off the road due to the violations they committed.

“Ignoring traffic signs and falsifying logbooks endangers everyone. Please obey all traffic signs and keep accurate records to ensure safety on Arizona’s roads,” stated the AZDPS.
