Iowa trucking firm sponsors NASCAR driver for Iowa Speedway race

Published:

An Iowa trucking company has partnered with NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Patrick Emerling for a race taking place this weekend at Iowa Speedway.

On June 11, Emerling announced the partnership with Hoker Trucking, based in Dixon, Iowa, for the HyVee Perks 250 on June 15 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa.

“At Hoker Trucking, we are thrilled to partner with Patrick Emerling’s team for the HyVee Perks 250 at Iowa Speedway,” said Jeff Hoker, owner of Hoker Trucking. “This will be the first time we’ve sponsored an Xfinity Series driver, and we’re thrilled to be part of such a major event at a track in our home state of Iowa.”

“I’m thrilled to be racing in Iowa this weekend in front of a sold-out crowd! It’s a great track, and since my roots are in stock car racing, I love short tracks,” said Emerling. “This weekend I have a fantastic partner: Hoker Trucking. They’re big supporters of local racing, so it’s exciting to bring them into the top ranks of NASCAR.”

Hoker has previously sponsored Justin Kay Racing, Chris Simpson Racing, Brian Shirley Racing, Bobby Pierce Racing, Ricky Thornton Jr. Racing, Jason Feger Racing, Timmy Current Racing, Gordy Gundaker Racing, and Jake Lund.
