A truck driver was found deceased inside of his cab on Thursday after reporting to his company that he was “not feeling well.”
Police in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana were called by a trucking company on Thursday, September 17th at about 8:40 a.m. and asked to conduct a welfare check on one of their drivers.
According to 4WWL, The driver had told his company the day prior that he was “not feeling well,” and had stopped to rest in a Home Depot parking lot in LaPlace. Police were dispatched and located the semi truck. The 53-year-old truck driver was found unresponsive in his semi truck.
The driver was pronounced dead a short time later. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his family. No further information is available.
